Over the years, he has crafted visual narratives that echo the intensity and complexity of the music itself\u2014producing documentaries and promotional videos for artists whose work defies convention.<br>In recent years, his focus has shifted toward artist portraits, concert photography, and live video recordings, particularly within the progressive metal and heavy metal scenes. His work is praised for its ability to translate sonic power into visual rhythm, capturing both the raw energy of performance and the quiet force behind the music.<br> <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2>Junnie Fundeis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For over two decades, I have pursued concert photography as a self-taught artist, drawn to the fleeting intensity of live performance and the emotional resonance it leaves behind.<br>In recent years, I have begun to explore photography more deeply\u2014not only as a means of documentation, but as a way of listening to the quiet rhythms of urban life. I am fortunate to be under the tutelage of <strong>Mitsugu Ohnishi<\/strong>, a Tokyo-born photographer. <br>Inspired by his approach, I continue to create work that reflects the passage of time, the texture of place, and the quiet dignity of human life.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About the Mentor, Mitsugu Ohnishi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\nMitsugu Ohnishi is a Tokyo-born photographer whose lens has long wandered through the quiet corners of urban life. Since the 1970s, he has documented the shifting textures of Japan\u2019s downtown districts and suburban landscapes, capturing fleeting moments with a gaze that is both tender and unflinching. His work reveals the poetry of the everyday\u2014where memory, time, and place gently collide.<br>A recipient of the Japan&#8217;s most prestigeous photography awards, Kimura Ihei Award and the Taiyo Prize, Ohnishi\u2019s photographs have shaped generations of visual storytellers.
